TEFL at STEM English Academies

NO ESPERES MÁS Y PREPARA TU FUTURO COMO PROFESOR

Accredited 120-Hour TEFL Diploma with Real Teaching & Work Experience in Spain

Train in Alicante with STEM English Academies and gain more than just a qualification — gain genuine classroom experience in a real academy environment.
Our intensive 6–8 week TEFL programme combines structured online study with essential in-person practical training delivered in a professional, established academy setting. Trainees work directly with real students, developing the confidence and practical skills required to teach internationally.
Upcoming intakes: April, May and June.

A Recognised & Accredited Qualification

This programme is delivered in Alicante in partnership with Frisby College.
Upon successful completion, graduates receive a:
120-Hour Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)
Awarded by Frisby College and accredited by Open CPD.
This ensures your qualification is professionally structured and internationally recognised.

Learn in a Real Academy. Teach Real Students.

Unlike fully online courses, this programme is highly practical and hands-on.
Throughout the course, trainees:

• Observe experienced teachers
• Plan structured lessons
• Teach real students
• Receive detailed professional feedback
• Develop classroom management strategies
• Build confidence in front of real groups

Each trainee is assigned a personal tutor, and tutorials take place in small groups to ensure individual guidance and continuous development.

Importantly, trainees gain genuine work experience while completing the programme. This practical exposure significantly enhances employability and ensures graduates are well-positioned to secure quality teaching roles immediately after completion.

By the end of the course, you are not only qualified — you are experienced and classroom-ready.

Hands-On Experience & Career Pathways

Teaching practice takes place within our academy environment under professional supervision.
In many cases, STEM English offers employment opportunities to successful trainees. When graduates begin teaching classes independently, they are paid accordingly.

This means you leave with both a recognised TEFL qualification and practical teaching experience — a powerful combination when applying for roles abroad.

Selection Process

To maintain high standards and ensure candidates are suited to the demands of teaching, all prospective trainees are invited to attend an interview prior to enrolment. This allows us to assess eligibility, discuss expectations, and ensure the programme is the right fit for each applicant.

We are committed to maintaining quality and professionalism throughout the course.

Train on Spain’s Mediterranean Coast

Located in Alicante, our academy provides a unique opportunity to develop professionally while experiencing Spanish culture and coastal lifestyle.

International participants may attend the course on a tourist visa for up to 3 months, making this an accessible option for candidates from abroad.

Limited Places Available

We keep our groups small to ensure personalised training and direct mentoring.
If you are ready to begin your international teaching journey, we invite you to book a free consultation.
